Celebrate all things Paw Paw while sipping delicious wine and listening to amazing live music!

Come for music, paw paw products, wine tasting, a visit to the paw paw patch, & paw paws! No entry fee.

From JBR: “Come to JBR Vineyards & Winery on Saturday, Oct. 7th. (12 – 5) and/or Sunday, Oct. 8th. (1 – 5) to learn about this native North American relative of the Papaya that was George Washington’s favorite dessert (chilled paw paw) and which Mary Draper Ingles ate on her long way home. Lewis & Clark mentioned paw paws in their dairy. You can also go way down yonder below the vineyard to our real, live, honest-to-goodness paw paw patch! We will also be doing vineyard and winery tours. On Saturday, the Fork Mountain Ramblers will play their authentic, old timey mountain string band music. Leslie Brooks, a mountain music singer, will be with us on Sunday. In addition, we will have our locally grown, produced, and bottled wine for tasting and sale. Good wine, too. We grow the grapes and make the wine ourselves. We grow only classic wine grapes, not hybrids. Except for any wine you might want, all of this doesn’t cost you anything. Not one thin dime. There is no admission fee. We look forward to seeing you there! Child and dog friendly. No food service.”
