Giles County Halloween Event Request
Halloween will be here soon! Last year, the Giles County Sheriff’s Office “Saved Halloween” from inclement weather. This year, we would like to “Save Halloween” from Covid-19! We’re partnering with the Pearisburg Merchants Association and the Giles Chamber of Commerce to host a fun, safe event for everyone to enjoy!
We can’t do this alone so we are asking for your help! Would you consider making a donation – either monetary or supplies (candy and/or Halloween décor)?
We greatly appreciate any assistance! Last year, we had over 1,000 children and adults visit us during our Halloween event. Hopefully, this year will be just as successful while being mindful of Covid-19 safety protocols that will be in place.
Details of this event are:
- Date: Friday, October 30th
- Time: 3:00pm until 6:00pm
- Location: Outside around the Giles County Sheriff’s Office, 1 Taylor Avenue, Pearisburg
Donations: Drop off candy/décor to the Sheriff’s office; monetary donations of any amount can be made to: Pearisburg Merchants Association, c/o Hope Harrell, 112 Tazewell Street, Pearisburg. If you need our assistance to pick up your donation, please contact April Blankenship or Kelly McCroskey at 540-921-0031.
Booths: Businesses are encouraged to participate in this event! Bring a tent or table to set up and give out Halloween candy. Contact April Blankenship or Kelly McCroskey at 540-921-0031 or email email@example.com.
Thank you in advance for your outstanding support!
